Three Men Jailed Over Brutal Pub Brawl in Luton
Ashley Walsh, 26, Kyle Bangs, 27, and Tom Livingstone, 28, have been locked up for a savage attack at a Luton pub. The trio were sentenced last Friday (4 December) at Luton Crown Court after admitting to inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Violent Fight Captured on CCTV
The shocking assault happened just after 9pm on Wednesday 26 August at a public house on Lake Street. Police rushed to the scene after reports of a violent altercation.
- CCTV showed Livingstone throwing a bottle during a fracas with the victim.
- Bangs and Walsh joined in, pummelling the victim with punches and kicks while he lay on the ground.
- The victim was left unconscious with serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Justice Served as Trio Sentenced
The three men were arrested soon after and remanded in custody. Livingstone received three years behind bars. Walsh and Bangs were each sentenced to three years and six months in prison. They were also slapped with victim surcharges of £190.
“I am glad that Livingstone, Bangs and Walsh will spend time behind bars for their actions, and I hope they use this time to reflect on how they have behaved,” said Detective Constable Emma Janes.
“This type of violent behaviour won’t be tolerated in our town. Let this be a strong warning to anyone who thinks they can get away with it.”
“As we head into the festive season, remember: drink responsibly. A split-second decision can ruin lives—not just for the victim, but for yourself and your family.”
