Chief Inspector Steve Kent was alerted by a security guard to two men acting suspiciously near Union Street on Friday, June 10, 2022.
He stopped them as they attempted to leave the town centre in a car, and an inspection of their bags revealed bottles of suspected fragrance imitations.
Further investigation revealed that one of the men was wanted on a court warrant, and he was arrested. The seized items are still being investigated by KCC Trading Standards.
