Quadbike Chase Sparks Police Bust on A249
Suspect on the Run
Kent Police were called out at 9.18pm on Sunday 4 December 2022 after reports of a man behaving suspiciously on a quadbike along the A249. Officers quickly located the rider and tried to stop him – but he sped off instead.
Chase Ends in Iwade
After a brief police pursuit, the driver was finally forced to stop on Old Ferry Road, Iwade. The rider, a 29-year-old from Sheerness, was swiftly arrested.
Charges and Bail
- Suspected of dangerous driving
- Failing to stop for police
- Driving without a licence
He’s now released on bail until 3 March 2023 while Kent Police continue their investigation.
