Police Crack Down on Cocaine Conspiracy

On Thursday, 1 April, officers from the Specialist Crime Command executed warrants as part of Operation Eternal, targeting crimes linked to encrypted mobile phones. The Territorial Support Group backed the raids, showing the high stakes involved.

Two Nabbed, One Location Yields Pills

  • A 34-year-old man was arrested at Cranborne Close, Bedford.
  • A 54-year-old woman was detained at West Way, Moggerhanger, Bedford.
  • Both face conspiracy charges related to cocaine supply.
  • No arrests were made at the Milcote Street, Southwark address, but officers found a stash of pills.

The suspects were taken to custody suites in Bedford for questioning.

Detective Sergeant John Cowell said: “The arrests made this morning will have a positive impact on dismantling this organised crime group we are confident are involved in the supply of Class A drugs. The supply of Class A drugs is the fuel for violent crime that officers from the Met are committed to tackling. It remains our top priority.”
