Woman Shot Dead in Shocking Talbot Green Murder
A murder probe is in full swing after a woman was gunned down in the Green Park area of Talbot Green, just a few miles west of Cardiff.
Tragic Shooting Rocks South Wales Town
South Wales Police rushed to a grim scene at around 6:10pm on Sunday, 9 March 2025, following reports of gunfire. Paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service found a 40-year-old woman with fatal injuries. She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Man Arrested as Police Seal Off Crime Scene
A 42-year-old man from Talbot Green has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody while detectives hunt for more clues. Multiple crime scenes have been sealed off with road closures in place. Officers in white forensic suits have combed the area alongside uniformed police vehicles.
Detective Chief Inspector James Morris said: “I understand the concern this will cause the local community, and I want to reassure people that a team of experienced detectives are already working at pace to piece together the events of last night.”
