Police Hunt Red Transit Van in Shocking E-Bike Robbery
Officers have reviewed CCTV footage and spoken to witnesses. They’ve now released an image of the red transit van used in the crime, hoping the public can help identify the suspects.
“This was a violent attack on a teenage boy which no one should go through in their own community,” said Constable Owen Pemberton.
“I urge anyone who was on Childwall Road, Woolton Road, Queens Drive, or Smithdown Road around 7pm who saw the van to get in touch.”
“Drivers and residents with dashcams or CCTV should check their footage for the suspects driving off.”
“The stolen e-bike is a dark lime Giant bicycle. If you see it or spot it listed for sale, please report it immediately.”
