Bedroom Blaze Sparks Alarm in Kennington
A laptop left charging in a Kennington bedroom erupted into flames Wednesday morning, sending two fire engines speeding to Alderney Way.

The blaze ignited just before 10am. Fire crews quickly donned breathing apparatus and blasted the fire with a powerful hose reel jet. They used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke, making the home safe once again.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, but nearby neighbours were left shaken by the fiery drama.
