New Reform UK leader Nigel Farage was assaulted today as he exited the Moon and Starfish pub in Clacton. The incident occurred shortly after he addressed reporters inside the pub following his campaign rally at Clacton Pier earlier in the day.

According to eyewitnesses, Farage was leaving the pub when an unidentified individual threw a drink at him, splattering his suit. The assailant’s motive remains unclear, but the incident has raised concerns about political tensions in the area.
