Bird-Shaped Lectern Stolen in Church Break-In
Kent Police are hunting thieves after a daring break-in at St John the Evangelist Church in Kingsdown. Overnight on Sunday, a unique lectern shaped like a bird was nabbed from the historic church.
Police Seek Witnesses and Footage
The crime was reported on Monday morning, 2 May 2022. Officers are urgently appealing to anyone who saw suspicious activity, captured dashcam or doorbell footage, or has been offered the stolen lectern for sale to get in touch.
