Brutal Attack in Portsmouth: Teen Left Unconscious on Zebra Crossing

On Sunday, June 19, an 18-year-old man was found badly beaten on a zebra crossing near Portsmouth & Southsea Train Station. The victim suffered two facial fractures, severe bruising, swelling, and a minor brain bleed. He was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.

Police Hunt Three Men Caught on CCTV

Officers are trawling through CCTV footage to track down three men seen near the scene at the time of the attack. They urgently want to question these suspects or anyone who recognises them.

Descriptions of Suspects

  • Man One: Aged 18-25, 5ft 5in–5ft 8in, slim build, white, brown curly hair longer on top. Wearing black trainers, dark shorts with white pinstripe, light blue zip-up jumper, and carrying a black man bag with silver zip.
  • Man Two: Aged 18-25, 5ft 7in–5ft 10in, slim build, white, light brown hair short around ears, longer on top. Wearing black and red/orange trainers (possibly Adidas), dark blue jeans, dark short-sleeved top, and black/white shoulder bag.
  • Man Three: Aged 18-25, 5ft 7in–5ft 10in, average build, white, dark blonde/brown hair long on top, short on sides. Wearing white and blue trainers (possibly Nike), ripped dark blue jeans, white t-shirt (last seen without shirt).

What Happened?

The victim is believed to have left Catherine House on Stanhope Road around 2.30am, heading towards Portsmouth & Southsea Train Station, before being found unconscious on the zebra crossing by a passerby.
