Harrow Horror: Woman Raped Near High Street
Detectives have launched an urgent appeal after a woman was raped near Harrow’s bustling High Street late on Saturday, November 2.
Attack Rocks Harrow-On-The-Hill
Police were called to Church Hill, Harrow-on-the-Hill, at around 11:45pm following reports of the assault. The victim is receiving specialist support as officers continue their investigation.
Suspect Held, Cops Hunt Witnesses
A man was arrested on November 4 and remains in custody as inquiries continue. Detectives are desperate to hear from anyone who was in the area between 10pm and midnight, especially near St Mary’s Church, Churchfields Open Space, and Grove Open Space.
“We know this will cause a lot of concern and anxiety in the area,” said Detective Sergeant Phil Inman. “I’m asking residents and businesses to check any CCTV, doorbell, or dash cam footage that could help. Any information could be critical to our investigation.”
