The 29-year-old journalist was shot dead during disturbances in Derry on 18 April 2019.

Thirty arrests have been made by the PSNI as part of their investigation.

Nine people have been charged in connection with Ms McKee’s death, with three charged with murder and six others charged with public order offences.

PSNI Detective Superintendent Eamonn Corrigan has said the investigation remains “very active” and appealed for further assistance from the public.

” If anyone has any information about the events which led up to Lyra’s murder, and they have yet to come forward, please contact detectives in absolute confidence by calling 101,” he said in a statement.

DS Corrigan said that thoughts “very much remain” with Ms McKee’s family, partner, friends and colleagues.

H added that the McKee family “not only continue to mourn for her but also for her mother, who sadly passed away after Lyra’s murder.”
