Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, a 31-year-old NHS doctor, has been arrested by the Met Police for allegedly inciting support for the banned terrorist group Hamas. She was picked up at her home in Pilning, South Gloucestershire, after reportedly breaking bail conditions from earlier arrests.
Four Counts of Inciting Terror Support
The British-Palestinian doctor faces four charges of inciting support for Hamas, plus two additional serious offences. The alleged online posts and comments date from 23 July to 31 December 2025, police revealed after hauling her to a central london/" title="London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="4579">London station.
Remanded Ahead of Court Appearance
Aladwan remains in custody and is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this Friday.
Further Charges Under Public Order Act
Police slapped on extra charges citing the Public Order Act 1986. She is accused of publishing or distributing material and using threatening, abusive or insulting language intended to stir up racial hatred, or acting recklessly about whether racial hatred would result.
