Second Man Arrested in Mystery of Missing Mum Alexandra Morgan

Detectives are hot on the trail in the baffling disappearance of Alexandra Morgan, a mother of two from Sissinghurst. A second man has been arrested as police hunt for answers.

Disappearance Sparks Murder Inquiry

Alexandra was last spotted at a petrol station near Cranbrook at 7.20am on Sunday 14 November 2021. Since then, she has vanished without a trace and hasn’t contacted her family.

Her disappearance is now being treated as suspicious, with detectives launching a potential murder investigation.

On Friday 26 November, a 53-year-old man from Hastings was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. This follows the arrest of a 40-year-old man from St Leonards-on-Sea the day before, who remains held.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Clues

Investigators are desperate for anyone with information to come forward. They’ve released details of Alexandra’s car – a white Mini Cooper with a black roof and registration number MF55 YHM.

  • The vehicle was tracked making journeys between Alexandra’s home and the Hastings area on 14 and 15 November.
  • Police, supported by Sussex officers, are conducting searches at four locations around Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea.
  • Residents should expect an increased police presence in the coming days.

“It is completely out of character for Alexandra not to contact her family and we are now treating this case as a potential murder,” said Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber.

“If you think you may have seen Alexandra or her Mini Cooper, or noticed anything suspicious, please contact us immediately.”
