In 2023, Watson was handed a suspended sentence after raping a 13-year-old girl. The jury found him guilty of child rape by a 10-2 majority and unanimously guilty of assault by penetration of a child.

Two more girls came forward, accusing Watson of rape. But the jury couldn’t reach a verdict on those counts. They were split on charges including rape, sexual assault, and assault by penetration.
