Bust-Up on Busy Etchingham Road
Sussex Police rushed to Etchingham Road, Eastbourne, on Friday morning after a violent fight broke out in broad daylight. Officers were called just before noon following reports of a serious disturbance.
Two Men Bailed, Woman Faces Serious Charges
- A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
- A 25-year-old man is charged with attempted assault causing grievous bodily harm and affray.
Both men have been released on bail as the probe continues.
Woman Arrested for Assaulting Police
A 30-year-old woman involved in the fracas was arrested at the scene for being drunk and disorderly. She now faces two counts of assaulting a police officer.
The woman has been formally charged and is due to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on July 1.
