Speed Demon BMW Chase Ends in Crash and Arrests in Liverpool
Two men were hauled in after a nail-biting high-speed chase through Childwall, Liverpool, last night. Police spotted a silver BMW tearing down Childwall Valley Road towards Roby Road on Wednesday, November 15.
BMW Smashes Into Barrier Near M62 and The Rocket Pub
The chase ended abruptly when the speeding BMW smashed into a barrier on Bowring Park Road, close to the M62 and The Rocket pub. The two suspects, aged 44 and 36, were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
Serious Injuries and Police Appeal for Witnesses
Both men were rushed to hospital. One has serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is receiving treatment. The other suffered minor injuries and is now in police custody awaiting questioning.
M62 Junctions Reopened After Chaos
Road closures at junctions 4 and 5 of the M62 caused major disruption but have since been lifted, with traffic now flowing normally.
