Man Attacked and Robbed Near Henwood Industrial Estate in Dead of Night
Just after midnight on Saturday, July 31, a man in his 40s was mugged on a footpath behind Henwood industrial estate, near Mace Lane.
Victim Held Down and Assaulted in Shocking Attack
The victim was walking alone when two men suddenly approached him. They demanded his belongings before forcing him to the ground and violently assaulting him. He suffered facial injuries during the ordeal.
Thieves Steal Phone and Tobacco – Suspects Spotted
The attackers made off with the man’s mobile phone and tobacco. One suspect is described as a white male, around 5’9″, clean-shaven with short dark hair, dressed in dark clothing. The second is a taller white male, approx. 6 feet tall. Both men reportedly spoke with Eastern European accents.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
