A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a residential property in Belvedere.
Emergency services were called shortly after 10am on Sunday, March 8, to an address on Stanmore Road following reports that a woman had been found unresponsive.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, a 37-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of murder. He was taken into custody, where he remains while officers continue their investigation.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the woman and the arrested man were known to each other.
A crime scene remains in place on Stanmore Road while specialist officers carry out enquiries.
