Officers and emergency services attended Blessed Hugh Faringdon Roman Catholic School in Fawley Road, Southcote, at around 1pm today following a report that a boy was receiving medical treatment. A 12-year-old boy was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance where he remains. He had sustained serious injuries. He is in a stable condition. Detectives are investigating the circumstances as officers believe the victim was assaulted. https://youtu.be/akvEIMDLR5o Officers are currently in attendance conducting enquiries and the schools officer has visited the school today. We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information in relation to it. Also we are appealling to any witnesses who have mobile phone footage of the incident which may assist our investigation to contact us on 101. We take incidents of this nature seriously and are in the early stages of conducting a thorough investigation and those at the school will be offered support .
