Police and George’s family are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing man from Woodley. George Tomes, aged 18, was last seen in Woodley at around 9.30pm yesterday. George is white, 6ft 4ins, slim, with dark brown shaved hair, and has green and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, black combat boots and was carrying a military-style camouflage rucksack and webbing. Investigating officer Sgt Peter Lawman, based at Bracknell police station, said: “We are concerned for George’s welfare, particularly as he is involved with the Air Cadets and he did not attend a Remembrance Parade today (13/11) as expected. “If you see George please contact police so we can check on his welfare. If George sees this appeal please let us know you are safe.” Anyone with any information about George’s whereabouts should contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting URN 407 13/11. Update: An 18-year-old air cadet who went missing on Saturday night has been found. George’s family have contacted us with some great News that He has been found and is now back at home sleeping and working out his issues with the support of his family. His mum on Georges behalf have asked us to thank everyone who has shared the appeal whilst he was missing.
