Two appliances from Wokingham and Caversham attended along with two ambulances a rapid response paramedic and an ambulance officer from South Central ambulance service Two people have been taken to the Royal Berkshire hospital in Reading by ambulance with serious injures. A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Caversham and Wokingham Road stations have been called to the incident they were called at 11.26pm They are assisting Police and Ambulance with a two vehicle head-on collision. “Crews are releasing one trapped female casualty using crash rescue equipment”. A Spokesman from the joint operations Thames Valley and Hampshire Roads Policing said “The incident is under investigation into how the two vehicle hit head on and it is at an early stage. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that may help our investigation is asked to call Thames Valley Police on 101 https://youtu.be/jTqRDSoV7ss UPDATE Police have advised that the road closure is likely to be removed just after 1.30am
