A 39-year-old man is to appear in court charged with two Folkestone burglaries. Anthony Foord, of Naseby Avenue in Folkestone, was arrested by police and charged on Tuesday 8 May. The charges relate to a burglary at a property in Audley Road on Monday 7 May, and a burglary at a property in Sunningdale Avenue on Saturday 5 May in which jewellery and items were reported stolen during both incidents. Mr Foord appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 9 May and was remanded in custody. He will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
