Emergency services rushed to the scene of an explosion at  The Combe Monster Square in North West  London on Thursday evening.

The explosion is reported to have involved the 9th floor of the tower block said one of the residents who has been evacuated from the Sixteen floor block though the exact cause remains under investigation.

Firefighters worked to secure the area while paramedics stood by to assist with any injuries. It is currently unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.

A safety cordon has been established, and authorities are advising residents to avoid the area as investigations continue.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are working closely with fire and safety specialists to determine the nature and origin of the explosion. Local disruptions are expected as emergency services remain on-site.
