Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) responded late Wednesday night to a substantial fire on Earlswood Street, Greenwich. Crews were dispatched at just before 11pm to tackle a blaze that had erupted on the top floor of a house where scaffolding had been erected.
Emergency services have cordoned off sections of Earlswood Street as firefighting operations continue. The LFB urges residents to avoid the area to allow firefighters adequate space to manage the situation safely. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
