Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) responded late Wednesday night to a substantial fire on Earlswood Street, Greenwich. Crews were dispatched at just before 11pm to tackle a blaze that had erupted on the top floor of a house where scaffolding had been erected.
Residents have seen multiple fire engines and crews quickly mobilised to contain the flames, which were reported to be intense and confined to the upper level of the building.
