Blaze Breaks Out on Top Floor of Greenwich Home

Firefighters raced to a fierce fire on Earlswood Street, Greenwich, late Wednesday night. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called just before 11pm to tackle flames ripping through the top floor of a house under scaffolding.

Multiple Fire Engines Battle Intense Flames

Residents spotted several fire engines rushing to the scene. Crews moved fast to contain the blaze, which was fierce but limited to the building’s upper level. The scaffolding complicated efforts, forcing firefighters to proceed with extra caution amid fears the structure might be unstable.

No Injuries, Investigation Underway

Thankfully, no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Emergency services have cordoned off parts of Earlswood Street, urging local residents to steer clear and give firefighters room to work safely.
