Murder Investigation Launched After Man Found Dead in Telford Car Park – UKNIP

A murder investigation is underway in Telford after the discovery of a deceased man in a car park. West Mercia Police have confirmed that the man, aged 41, was found unresponsive on Gresley Close in Woodside at approximately 6:30 am yesterday (Monday, 17 July).

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, but sadly, the man was pronounced dead upon their arrival. Initially treated as an unexplained death, the circumstances surrounding the incident have now led officers to suspect foul play.

In connection with the investigation, two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 44-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man are currently in police custody while further inquiries are conducted. To aid the ongoing investigation, additional officers have been deployed in the area.

Detective Inspector Steve Cook, the Senior Investigating Officer, stated that although the investigation is still in its early stages, the man’s death is now being treated as a suspected murder.
