Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a group assault in central London.
Officers were called at 06:21hrs on Thursday, 21 August to reports of an attack outside a restaurant at Piccadilly Circus. They attended alongside the London Ambulance Service, where a man was found with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition is currently being assessed.
At this stage, no arrests have been made. Detectives confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault.
