A devastating incident on High Street has left three people dead, despite the swift response of emergency services, including police officers, fire crews, and both ground and air ambulance teams. The collision, which occurred earlier today, has plunged the local community into shock and mourning.

Chief Inspector Caroline Mullen-Hurst of the local police force confirmed the tragic news, stating, “Sadly, we can confirm that three people have been fatally injured in the incident.” She extended her condolences to the families affected and issued a public appeal for assistance. We are appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident that hasn’t already spoken to officers or anybody who might have dashcam footage, to please get in touch,” she urged.

As the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision continues, police have requested that the public avoid the High Street area. The road is expected to remain closed for an extended period while officers carry out their inquiries.

Authorities are urging anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses are asked to contact the police either through their website or by calling 101, quoting reference number Q129825.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of their next of kin. Police have indicated that further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.

This tragic event has cast a sombre mood over the community, and the police are committed to determining the cause of the accident as they continue their investigation
