Eight Arrested in Met Police Crackdown on ULEZ Camera Sabotage Plot

Eight people have been arrested as part of a major Metropolitan Police operation targeting those suspected of conspiring to destroy ULEZ cameras across London and beyond.

Warrants were executed during the early hours of Wednesday morning, with simultaneous raids taking place at addresses in Uxbridge, Ickenham, Northwood, Sutton, Eltham, Windsor, and on the Isle of Sheppey.

Suspected of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Damage

The operation, led by the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, resulted in the arrest of six men and two women, all suspected of conspiracy to commit criminal damage.

He added that officers would continue to work closely with Transport for London (TfL) to identify suspects and build further cases.

Ongoing Investigation

The investigation remains active, with police appealing for anyone with knowledge of ULEZ camera targeting or sabotage plans to come forward.
