A desperate search is underway in Slade Green after a six-month-old puppy named Teddy went missing on Monday evening, sparking community concern and an urgent appeal for information.

Teddy, a young black-and-white dog described as friendly but now likely terrified and injured, was last seen at around 8pm near Saint Augustine’s Church, hours after he reportedly ran from the scene of a collision near Manor Road, DA8 2AD, at approximately 5pm.

The public is asked to check gardens, sheds, garages and quiet spaces where a frightened dog may be hiding. Residents are reminded not to chase Teddy if spotted, but to call the number above and report sightings immediately.
