Urgent Appeal Issued for Missing 72-Year-Old Man in Scarborough

 

An urgent appeal has been launched to locate Peter Meaney, 72, who has been reported missing from Eastfield, Scarborough. There is extreme concern for his welfare, with authorities urging the public to assist in the search.

Peter was last seen around 12 PM on Friday, 23 May 2025. He is described as being 5’4” tall, of average build, with blue eyes, and may be wearing glasses. He was last believed to be wearing a blue jacket and blue trousers.

Immediate Action Requested

Authorities are calling for anyone who sees Peter to call 999 immediately. North Yorkshire Police are leading the investigation and request that any information, no matter how minor it may seem, be shared.
