Paedophile David Cambray Jailed for 12 Child Sex Offences
David Cambray, 51, was convicted of 12 child sex offences committed years ago. The victim came forward bravely in January this year, sparking a police probe that ended in Cambray’s conviction.
Sentenced at Northampton Crown Court
Cambray was handed his sentence on Friday, November 20. The judge slammed him for showing no remorse and abusing a position of trust. Along with his jail term, Cambray received a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must register as a sex offender for life.
Police Praise Victim’s Bravery, Warn Offenders
“Cambray acted solely for his own sexual gratification, with no thought for the damage he caused,” said Detective Constable Kelly Roberts.
“This case is a clear warning to anyone with a sexual interest in children. We take such offences seriously and will hunt down offenders to protect children and deliver justice.”
