Talbot Green, March 15, 2025 — Five people have been charged in connection with the murder of Joanne Penney, who was fatally shot in Talbot Green last weekend.
Joanne Penney, 40, died on Sunday, March 9, after being shot at a property on Llys Illtyd. Her tragic death has sparked a major police investigation, with detectives working around the clock to piece together the events that led to the fatal incident.

South Wales Police confirmed today that two women and three men have been charged in relation to the case. They are due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, March 15).
