Arsonist Torch Shed in Totton

Police are appealing for witnesses after arson at allotments Officers from Hampshire Police in Totton are investigating after a shed at the allotment site on Water Lane, Totton was set on fire between 11pm and 11.30pm on Friday, June 17. The allotments, which are privately owned, were entered and two sheds were broken into. One of the sheds was set on fire and destroyed. No one was injured. PC David Barnes, from Lyndhurst Police Station said: “These allotments are well maintained and the owners take great pride in tending to this land. I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard anyone suspicious around this time or leading up to this time, on Friday night, to come forward. “If you own an allotment, shed or outbuilding, ensure your property is secure, tidy away any tools or machinery and consider fitting a shed alarm or external lighting.” “I would urge anyone who has any information about this incident to make contact with us, in confidence, via 101 quoting 44160227345.”
