Man Caught Stealing, Turns Racist at Petrol Station

On April 17, 2022, just after 5.30pm, a man entered a petrol station on Station Road. Staff asked him to remove some suspected stolen items from his pockets.

But before leaving, he snapped. The man reportedly got aggressive and hurled racist abuse at a staff member.

Police Release Image in Hunt for Racist Suspect

PC Katie Blowers, leading the investigation, said: “We have been completing inquiries into this incident and are now in a position to release an image of a person we wish to speak to.”

She urged anyone recognising the man to come forward immediately.
