Snow and Ice Warning Hits South East London

The Met Office has slammed down a yellow weather warning as temperatures prepare to plunge. Brace yourself for snow and icy conditions from 9pm tonight (March 6) until 10am tomorrow (March 7).

Snowfall Set to Batter South East London

Snow is forecast to hit South East London on Tuesday and stick around into Wednesday (March 8). According to the Met Office’s hour-by-hour outlook, there’s a 60% chance of snow between 11am and 1pm tomorrow, dropping to 50% by 3pm.

Alongside snow, sleet and rain will lash the region on Wednesday, although exact timings are yet to be confirmed. The good news? Weather conditions should improve by the end of the week.

Travel Chaos Expected on Roads and Rails

The yellow warning means delays are on the cards. Expect longer journey times across roads, buses and trains as ice and snow disrupt travel. Motorists and commuters are urged to plan ahead and take extra care.
