A man has been given a restraining order after he admitted stalking and harassing a woman in north east London – UKNIP

Alan Woods, 51 of Lake Mead, Essex, was sentenced at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 8 September to a five-year restraining order against the victim and 200 hours unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to a charge of stalking without fear, alarm or distress.

The court heard, between July 2018 and April 2020, Woods stalked and harassed a female colleague from his workplace in Romford, RM7. The victim reported the harassment to officers at a north east London police station on Thursday, 24 October 2019 and stated that she did not know who the perpetrator was.
