Detectives are urgently looking to identify this man and appeal to any
members of the public to get in touch with police if they recognise him.
At 11.50am on Thursday the first victim was assaulted by a man at Baker
Street station.
Shortly after midday the man was seen at Finchley Road station and pushed
another man onto the tracks.
A third victim has now come forward to say he was assaulted by the same man
on a train from Finchley Road.
Two victims were taken to hospital for treatment and have since been
discharged, neither sustained serious injuries.
At this stage it is not believed that any parties involved were known to
each other.
It has been reported that the man is often seen in the area with ‘gaffer
tape’ strapped around his leg.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Langley said: “Our investigation is
continuing at pace and there will be a highly visible presence of officers
in the area throughout the weekend to provide reassurance to the travelling
public.
“We now believe the man is responsible for a third assault yesterday, and
we are today releasing even clearer images of a man we’d urgently like to
trace in connection with these incidents. Additionally, we know he was
wearing a distinctive hat with markings on the back.
“If you see someone matching this image, please contact police urgently by
calling 999 and referencing 517 of 27/10/22.
