UPDATED:Emergency services called to person hit by train

Sad to report that a person has been hit by a train this evening. Emergency services have been called to the scene that is between Havant and Portsmouth Harbour. The incident happened in the Bedhampton area. All lines are Blocked and a number of trains have been trapped. With passengers onboard. Trains on Southern and South West are subject to delay and short notice cancellations. There are delays of up to 60 minutes, amended or cancelled trains. This is expected until the end of the day. South Western Railway have issued the following advice to customers: Some of the Services from London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford will be diverted via Eastleigh. Replacement buses will run between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour, estimated time of arrival 9.15pm. You can use local bus services 21 & 23 between Havant and Portsmouth.
