Police Scotland is seeking witnesses following a fatal road accident on the M9 motorway near Stirling on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The incident, which occurred around 11:50am involved a white Vauxhall Corsa that veered off the southbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9, plummeting down an embankment.

The vehicle had been involved in a police pursuit before the crash. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but tragically, the 27-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the location. Two male passengers, aged 19 and 20, were transported to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for medical evaluation.
