Woman Rescued After Single-Car Crash Near Didcot
Fire crews from Didcot and Wallingford raced to the scene early this morning after a single-vehicle crash between East Hagbourne and Blewbury.
Trapped Driver Freed with Hydraulic Tools
One woman was trapped inside her car and firefighters had to use hydraulic and battery-operated cutting tools to free her. The lady was then handed over to South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
Minor Injuries, Police Probe Cause
Thankfully, the woman only suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Thames Valley Police are now investigating what caused the crash. No other vehicles appear to have been involved.
Road Briefly Shut for Clean-Up
The road was closed for a short time while crews cleared debris to get traffic moving again.
