Emergency services are responding to a possible fire onboard an inbound aircraft at London Heathrow Airport, following reports of smoke or flames detected during approach.

The incident was reported shortly after 3.30pm on Monday 7th July 0225 with  fire crews dispatched to London Heathrow Airport Multiple fire and aviation response units are currently on standby at the side of the runway
