In a significant operation this morning, armed officers successfully intercepted a vehicle on the M25, leading to the arrest of a man and his subsequent recall to prison.

The chase took place on the M25 anti-clockwise carriageway near the Dartford Crossing towards Essex. Tactical Pursuit And Containment (TPAC) techniques were employed by firearms units to stop the vehicle, a BMW, which was subsequently pulled over onto the hard shoulder.
