Officers provided vital security advice to the horse-riding community, including the forensic marking of trailers, horse boxes, and valuable tack to help deter theft. Drivers were also reminded about safe passing practices when encountering horses on the roads — stressing the importance of slowing down to 10mph, leaving a 2-metre gap, and driving away patiently and slowly.
