Dylan Davis, 24, of Strelley Road, Nottingham, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for the brutal rape and assault of a teenage girl in a Nottingham city centre hotel room on 16 August 2020.

He threatened to kill the victim if she tried to escape before raping her. Hotel cleaning staff discovered the room in disarray the following day, with broken glass strewn across the floor.
DI Holloway also thanked the officers and staff who worked tirelessly to secure Davis’s conviction and urged other victims of rape and serious sexual assault to come forward, assuring them of the support available from experienced officers.
