A 57-year-old man from Ipstones, Staffordshire, has been sentenced to 27 years in prison after being found guilty of a string of horrific sex offences against young girls and women. Nicholas McCabe’s campaign of abuse spanned from the 1990s to the 2000s, leaving a trail of traumatised survivors in its wake.
On Tuesday, 4 February, McCabe faced justice at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, where he was handed a 27-year prison sentence. He will also serve a 12-month extended licence period following his release.
