A Stoke-on-Trent man has been locked up for over six years for raping and sexually assaulting a woman. Flauberd Njumbe, 31, from Blurton, was sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday, 4 February.

Multiple Charges Land Man Behind Bars

Njumbe admitted to two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and failing to surrender to police bail. These horrific offences took place in 2024.

He was handed a hefty prison sentence of six years and one month.

Lifetime Sex Offender Registration

On top of his jail time, Njumbe must sign the Sex Offenders Register for life. This ensures he will be closely monitored by authorities once released.

Justice has been served for the victim, with Njumbe paying the price for his crimes.
