In a dramatic breakthrough, two Romanian men have been arrested in connection with the savage knife attack on Iranian journalist Pouria Zeraati in Wimbledon. The chilling incident saw Zeraati slashed in the leg on Queensmere Road on 29 March.
Suspects Nabbed and Charged
Romanian nationals Nandito Badea, 19, and George Stana, 23, were first detained by authorities in Romania on 4 December. They were then arrested at Heathrow Airport on 17 December, where they were met by officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command.
