UK households could be eligible for a £169.50 refund on the cost of their TV Licence. Legally, every household in the UK must have a TV licence to watch or record live TV on any channel. However, if you do not watch or record live TV and do not stream BBC iPlayer, you could be entitled to a refund.

Refunds are processed and issued within 21 days of application, though delays may occur if additional information is needed. Refunds are paid by cheque or BACS transfer directly into your bank account.
